Today’s recipe is Snowballs, also known as Russian tea cakes and Mexican Wedding Cakes. They are soft melt in the mouth festive cookies, apt for Christmas or New Year celebrations.

Yesterday I baked peanut butter cookies. The original recipe also called for 1/4 cup granulated white sugar which I omitted. And I rolled the cookie dough ball in sugar before baking. Verdict – very good cookies.

Today, I had a fun baking session with Nehal. Prepared sesame cookies shaped like sticks. It was fun baking with my 6 year old assistant who helped roll the cookies into small logs and sesame seeds. Nice recipe that is not overly sweet with a lovely cinnamon flavor.
