I’m Sailaja, your hostess. Wife to an ever cheerful, happy-go-lucky guy, Satish, with a terrific sense of humor. Content stay-at-home mommy to a 6 7 8 9 year old hyperactive and affectionate boy, Nehal. Facing the challenges of being a ‘great’ mom and not feel guilty when I mess up. Dealing with frustrations of parenting. Staying connected with my own desires and needs. Cooking kid friendly ‘nutritious’ recipes (a tough task). Sharing Nehal’s interests and passions (yes, I know all the alien names of Ben 10). Trying to stay in tune with his world. Enjoying being a child all over again (that’s the key to my sanity). And grateful to God for the gift of motherhood (that teaches us to love unconditionally) and joys of parenting.
Oh yeah, a food blogger and an ethnic weaves and embroidery enthusiast. 
This space is where I share lunch/snack box ideas, mostly kids recipes that I prepare for my 6 year old and a little bit of craft. More importantly, I hope all you mommies are inspired to travel this journey with me and share your thoughts and tips on parenting and all things KIDS!
